Job Description

Our client, one of the world\'s leading investment banks, is seeking an experienced Test Analyst who possesses very strong Fixed Income/Debt experience gained from another investment banking organisation. The firm requires a strong Test Manager that can assist in and provide structured functional test (ie UAT) planning and execution in the Debt space. Responsibilities include: Test Planning * Documentation of Functional (ie not technical testing) Test Strategy and Approach * Working with the BA to understand the Business Requirements * Coordination of users across business and global geographies to develop the test model based upon the Business Requirements (ie Test Scenarios, Test Scripts inc expected results) * Development of the Functional test execution plan including daily reporting, metrics and governance Liaising with technology to understand the release plan from System Test and how that impacts the Functional test execution plan. * Liaising with technology to understand the Environment plan and how this impacts the Functional test execution plan * Ensuring the Test Model is set up in HP Quality Centre (aka Mercury Test Director/Quality Centre) Test Execution * Coordinating users across business units and global geographies to execute Test scripts according to the Test Execution Plan and ensure that actual results and defects are captured in Quality Centre * Coordinating the Defect Management life cycle and prioritising fix resolution with technology * Daily Governance - calls with users to ensure the execution plan is on track * Daily Reporting - execution of the metrics plan to provide transparency for stakeholders * Issue management - facilitate any necessary re-planning based upon unforeseen outages (eg Environmental issues) * Obtain sign-off from business units once the system has been validated This is an important role and the Debt experience is essential.
