We are currently seeking a number of qualified Secondary teachers for assignments in Essex. We are currently extremely busy on day-to-day bookings and require qualified, flexible teachers in all subjects, who are happy to do general cover.

You will need:

. Sound knowledge of your specialist subject as well as confidence to do general cover
• An interest in professional development
• The ability to communicate with adults and children
• To be able to encourage and be sympathetic where appropriate to pupils
• The ability to work under direction from HOD/Pastoral Head
• The ability to work effectively within a team
• Good organisation skills contributing positively to departmental and school
improvement
• Experience of word processing, desktop publishing and Excel
• Ability to use own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure, to be flexible and responsive
• Be able to maintain a sense of humour when everyone else has lost theirs!
