Job Description

A Telesales Supervisor / Team Leader is sought to join this company Chelmsford, Essex.

The organisation is one of the leading firms in the legal services sector and one of the largest independent will writers in the UK.

LOCATION: Chelmsford, Essex
SALARY: £18,000 - £23,000 per annum (OTE £25,000 - £27,000) HOURS: 35 hours pw; Monday to Friday 1pm – 8-30 pm START DATE: ASAP

They are now looking for a confident Telesales Supervisor / Team Leader who is highly motivated, determined and has proven Telesales Supervisor / Team Leader experience.

As a Telesales Supervisor / Team Leader you will effectively develop and manage a Sales Team.

The ideal Telesales Supervisor / Team Leader will possess:

  • €¢ Experience as a Telesales Supervisor / Team Leader within an inbound / outbound Contact Centre

  • €¢ Experienced in performance management and exceeding targets in a KPI driven environment

To succeed in this role as a Telesales Supervisor / Team Leader you will be expected to:

  • €¢ Lead, motivate and oversee others – to achieve and exceed agreed objectives / KPI’s specifically in the areas of sales / customer service

  • €¢ Sell through up- and cross- selling, knowledge of outbound delivery channels and telemarketing techniques

  • €¢ Prioritise both team and individual workloads / performance

  • €¢ Identify staff training requirements and ensure training sessions are carried out to improve team members skills and abilities

  • €¢ Personally deliver consistently high standards of performance in an often pressurised environment

  • €¢ Present and communicate information effectively to team and colleagues at all levels

  • €¢ Influence and persuade external and internal customers and colleagues

  • €¢ Work productively both on your own and within a team environment

  • €¢ Identify areas where new systems, procedures or good practice are required

  • €¢ Problem solve – managing relationships; resolving issues

  • €¢ Have sound IT and systems knowledge
